Perfect scenario for Santa Mixer! When registering, each family creates a household with a nickname like "Mike's Family" or "The Downtown Johnsons." This ensures the Smith cousins from one family won't be paired with Smith cousins from another household.
Can kids participate in the gift exchange?
Absolutely! We have three age groups: children 10 and under, teenagers 11-18, and adults 19+. Kids are matched with other kids in their age range, so they'll be buying gifts appropriate for their peers.
What if there's an odd number of people in an age group?
Our smart algorithm handles this automatically. If there's an odd person out in an age group, they'll be matched with someone from the nearest age group who also needs a partner. The pairing still ensures no same-family matches.
How long does my event stay active?
Your gift exchange event remains active for weeks, giving everyone plenty of time to register and for the organizer to generate pairings when ready. Save your admin link to access your event anytime!
Is there a spending limit or budget feature?
